in Kiepersol, Mpumalanga in the heart of the Panorama route. Mpumalanga

most scenic areas of South Africa.

Set on 200
hectares of indigenous bush, forestry and farmland, the ochre-washed Lodge
with its deep-set pillared verandas and whirring white fans, is an "Out
of Africa" story come true.

Blue Mountain Lodge is turn-of-the century colonial with soaring
ceilings, cool deep verandas and miraculous lawns rolling down into
indigenous forest. Blue
Mountain Lodge reveals the timelessness of a bygone era combined with
luxury, elegance and breathtaking surroundings.

Blue Mountain Lodge are
unique, each suite boost it's own fireplace
and en-suite bathroom. This is the epitome of luxury and
tranquillity.

Guests set their own pace of breakfast, which is served until noon,
sundowners on the veranda and dinner in a fine dinning restaurant. A
weekly pilgrimage to the Reef ensures only the best ingredients combined
with the homegrown
Blue
Mountain
herbs and vegetables essential to the innovative and “modern”
cuisine.
Blue Mountain's menu is done in a African/ French style. The walk-in cellar
has more than 2 000 bottles that offers the guest to choose wine
directly off the shelf.
Blue Mountain Lodge
facilities
The
Lodge is set on two hundred hectares (approx. 500 acres) of indigenous
bush, forestry and farmland. The dam, which has a surface area of 5
hectares, is stocked with Black Bass. The farming activity, which utilizes
35 percent of the land, includes four thousand avocado trees, seven
hundred litchi trees, one hundred macadamia trees and one hundred coffee
bean trees.
Guests can enjoy
walking and hiking trails, bird watching (the contrasting vegetation
attracts a myriad of bird life), botanical interests and fishing.
The 20 metre
long swimming pool is located near the main complex and invites days of
lounging in the glorious sun.
The main
complex comprises a reception, elegant restaurant and bar with a
competition size billiard table. With prior notice, the Blue Mountain
Lodge can arrange beauty treatments on the premises. These include
facials, body massages, manicures etc.

Kruger
National Park -
Chauffeur or Self-Drive in air-conditioned mini bus vehicles, on panoramic
sightseeing trips or excursions into the
Kruger
National Park
or private game lodges. Enjoy day or night viewing safaris in an open vehicle
with a highly trained game ranger.
Golf –
for the golfing enthusiast, there are 5 golf courses – designed amongst
other by Gary Player – within 20 minutes drive from Blue Mountain Lodge,
where we are able to make all arrangements for our guests.
Mountain Biking
– 48 hours notice is required to arrange this activity.
Quad Biking-This
can be arranged 24hrs before.
Walking
trails - Beautiful
walking routes are available on the two hundred hectares of indigenous bush,
forestry and farmland but further walking trails are found within short
driving distances along the Panorama Route.
