Hog Hollow - Accommodation

Hog
Hollow has fifteen uniquely individual rooms which offer uninterrupted views over the indigenous
forests and Tsitsikamma
Mountains.
These comfortable African-styled rooms, situated in the gardens
surrounding the main house, are decorated in earthy colours, naturally
woven fabrics, artefacts and tones from Africa,
and local handcrafted woods.
Each
room at Hog Hollow has a private wooden deck, fitted with its own hammock and wooden
furniture overlooking the forest and an en-suite bathroom with bath and
shower.

Hog Hollow Facilities
The
main house is where it all happens and, apart from the dining room, Hog
Hollow has three lounge areas; one leading out to the sun drenched pool
area, whilst the other offers the privacy of a leafy garden vista, ideal
for reading. The third is situated underneath the old Cape Ficus Tree
growing through the deck, perfect for spotting birds coming to feed off
the fruit in the tree.

Hog Hollow - Meals
Hog Hollow is well known for its
delectable food. On crisp clear days farmhouse breakfasts are served on
the wooden deck overlooking the forest or near the huge fireplace when
it’s cooler. In the evenings, guests enjoy scrumptious dinners around
the communal table in the candle-lit atmosphere of the main house.
Meals are prepared using only the freshest of local produce. The set
menu includes a selection of main course of which fish, prawns and
crayfish are daily features.
Children are catered for with special mealtimes and menus.
Hog Hollow Activities

Attractions nearby
include at least 50 charted and guided walks. The area is part of one
of the world's great floral kingdoms with a host of bird-life and
wildlife for nature lovers.
Horse-riding, Mountain Biking, Canoeing, Windsurfing, Canopy Walk, Scuba
Diving, Paragliding,
Deep Sea Fishing, Bungi Jumping and Black Water Tubing down the Storms River
Gorge are among some of the great outdoor activities the area has to offer.
