Directions to Nedile Lodge (Welgevonden Game Reserve): Follow the N1 north to Polokwane (Pietersburg). About 130km you will find the Kranskop Tollgate, pass through and keep left to follow the off-ramp to Modimolle (Nylstroom). Pass through Modimolle (Nylstroom) 11km further, and a further 60km you will pass through Vaalwater. After Vaalwater past the garage, (Spar on left hand side), continue straight on the road towards Bulgerivier and Thabazimbi, do not turn right on the R33 towards Ellisras. 25km out of Vaalwater you will find the Main Gate to the Welgevonden Game Reserve on your left but past the main gate for a further 22km to the Schoongelegen turnoff. Turn left onto Schoongelegen dirt road. Here is also a road sign indicating the Welgevonden West Gate. Continue along this road for a further 17km past Manual Gate to the West Gate on your left hand side. You will be picked up at the gate with an open game viewer. Your vehicle will stay at the West Gate parked behind elephant proof electric fences with 24 hours security. As from the 1 April 2006 there will only be two pick up times: 12h00 or 16h30 at West Gate.
