Phantom Forest is situated in the Knysna Forests. Using
only sustainable building materials, drawing inspiration directly from nature
a harmonious balance has been created from ragged thatch rising into the
forest canopy, to hand-crafted wood shingle and fynbos planted roofs from
meandering boardwalks to a “fresh-water” natural pool.

theme of touch and taste Africa......from the sensuous touch of silk and
velvet to the visual beauty of mosaic and handcrafted lamps... from double
glass showers and twin mosaic basins to double-ended baths...the Moroccan
inspired tree suites add a new dimension to accommodation in South Africa.

“treesuites” at Phantom are an African celebration of natural textures, hand-crafted
furnishings, ethnic artefacts and hand weaving, stunning end-glass gable,
en-suite forest bathroom, and deck with trees popping through here and there!
